In Part 1 I told you how to stay motivated even when your life isn’t going the direction that it should.
I also gave you some background information on my life before Dare and Conquer. And 3 ways on how I managed to stay motivated even when things seemed to fall apart.
These 3 ways I talked about in Part 1 of Unleashing You are universal. They will work for you too. Especially the 3rd one: acting upon your words (read Part 1 if you don’t know what exactly I am talking about).
Now, another thing that is extremely important is what you do every day. Your daily habits and thoughts.
I realized soon enough that if I wanted to change my life – I should take daily steps towards the direction I wanted to go.
That’s an extremely important realization. You can’t expect a massive change from one day to another.
Neither should you expect putting in a lot of effort for 1 month and then goofing off the following month. Which is something tha many people do…
You MUST have a rhythm.
If you don’t have a rhythm, you won’t see any change – be sure for that. Consistency is essential to achieving anything.

When I dance, I try to listen to the music and understand the rhythm. Because when you dance and don’t have a rhythm – you look like dancing to an entirely different song. And that’s not the desired result…
The same happens with your life. If you don’t maintain the right rhythm you won’t get the desired results.
So if you have wondered: “How Do I Change My Life?”, then the answer is: Have a Rhythm!
Aristotle, the famous Greek philosopher said that:
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
He also said that:
“Good habits formed at youth make all the difference”

- Do the right things every day and you will meet excellence!
- Do the wrong things every day and you will meet misery…
Simple as that.
In the past, I did all the wrong things. No doubt why my life wasn’t going the direction that it should…
I had no money, I covered my expenses with money my parents and relatives gave to me, I had terrible acne and couldn’t visit a doctor, I was skinny and weak, my style was non-existent and I was living in a “ghetto-like”, terrible, one room home.
Well I had my pets though!
I was sharing my home with some cockroaches…
However they got really mad when I left. We decided to erase our memories and I don’t have any photos with them.
But I have some highlights of my old home that will totally help you understand why I was sharing it with cockroaches!
You can see:
Upper left: my kitchen’s sink.
Upper right: One of my walls. I forgot to mention that I had mold on my walls.
Left Bottom: My toilet (I was cleaning it every other day with chlorine!)
Middle: Another wall.
Right bottom: That was my door! (safe huh?)
That’s where you live when you do the wrong things…
Also, that’s how you look when you do the wrong things:
I hate me for showing you these ones. Because they literally look embarassing. (Actually, these flatter my old looks. I have others which are considerably worse)
But I told you: incredibly skinny, terrible sense of style, awful haircut, low confidence and dark circles under my eyes.
Certainly not the most attractive guy on the streets right?
Fortunately, when I started doing the right things – I also started to change my life!
And that change had an impact on every aspect of my life.
As soon as I’ve found my rhythm my life changed radically. And that change was the aftermath of doing the right things (which you will learn soon so you can implement them in your life!).
So, let’s see how everything changed during the last year – after I took control of my life, decisions, thoughts and emotions.
That’s my new home:
Obviously, it’s not a four-bedroom villa with pool, personal gym and home cinema. But it’s 250% better than the shack I used to have. And I love it.
Also, there was a huge change in my:
1.Confidence (Just check how I look at the camera)
I used to be really insecure and experience low confidence issues. I was afraid to speak out even when I was with my friends.
I was too afraid of criticism and what others thought of me. And that’s clearly visible in the camera. I looked afraid for no reason.
Your body language and especially your eyes talks a lot more about who you are than you could ever speak or write.
That’s why in the next article I will also share some tips about dominant body language.
In the past, I didn’t give as much importance in my body and nutrition.
I thought that being skinny is cool!
That’s because many people in my family were fat. I never wanted to be like them. And I strongly believed that being skinny is great.
Well, I couldn’t be more wrong.
Or do bodyweight training. My physique would be x10 better now.
Taking care of your body is as important as taking care of your mind, attitude and character. Don’t neglect it.
3.Style & Overall Looks
Just like my body, I used to not care much about my style.
As a result, I couldn’t even combine a simple pair of jeans, sneakers and t-shirt the right way.
My haircut was awful too (you can also check the above pictures).
The truth is that when you don’t respect yourself enough to develop your style – people won’t respect you as well.
One of the biggest changes you will experience when you dress like a winner, is that people will start treating you like a winner. We are naturally attracted to good-looking people.
My friend Nate from Iron & Tweed has a great article explaining how changing your style can change your life.
And there is no need to spend hundreds to dress well. Everything in the right picture apart from the parka costs just 45$.
Now let’s get into the nitty-gritty.
Let me explain how I change my life every single day for the better. And how you can do it as well to change your life.
Changing your life to the better has a lot to do with 3 extremely important rules.
- Maintaining constant motivation and energy (re-read part 1 on how to do that)
- Progressing every single day.
- Doing the right things (will explain which these are soon).
All these are interconnected.
You can’t do the right things for 1 week, then stop but expect your life to change.
You have ignored rules #1 and #2. You stopped so there is no progress. And you probably stopped because you didn’t have something to drive you (motivation).
On the other hand, it’s not possible to progress if you don’t do the right things.
And it’s impossible to maintain your motivation if you don’t progress at all. Progress helps you create momentum and re-ignite the fire within you.

How To Change Your Life For the Better Every Day
Step 1 – Stop Searching For External Motivation
Motivation that comes from anything else than your internal beliefs or your achievements WON’T lead to the desired results.
This includes motivational YouTube videos, quotes, pumping music and inspirational stories, speaking venues or seminars.
All that stuff are cool, but you shouldn’t rely on them to build your dreams. If you rely solely on that stuff the only one who is going to get rich is the man/woman/company behind the video, seminar etc.
If you want to achieve any goal, you should be internally motivated. Don’t base your hopes on external motivation.
“But I need that pump to give me hope”
No you don’t. You have to create hope. Don’t wait to be given hope or permission to take action. No matter what you are going through.
If you don’t care enough about yourself to create hope, then don’t expect to succeed. Nobody is going to care about you.
Nobody gives a shit about your desires, ambitions, needs, difficulties.
Create. Don’t expect to be given.
How can you change your life when you are facing the worlds’ most difficult situation?
Well, you are NOT facing the world’s most difficult situation. You THINK you do.
As soon as you realize that, everything will change.
Just because you think something is difficult for you, it doesn’t mean that it’s the most difficult thing in the world.
Do you know what’s really difficult?
That’s what’s really hard. All the problems you think you have are as hard as you make them be.
If you change your perspective, you will solve your problems easier.
Unleashing You Tip: The solution is to see each problem you face as an OPPORTUNITY to grow, transcend and become stronger.
That’s how you become internally motivated.
Instead of being a crybaby and whimpering about how unfair the world is, get up, dress up and go change your life.
You won’t change anything if you let your problems and difficulties paralyze you. Even if you (think that you) face the hardest situation in the world, you have to stay congruent to your goals.
Where do you want to go?
Write down your goals and crush them even when things seem to fall apart.
Unleashing You Tip 2: Give everything you’ve got irrespective of what the circumstances may be.
Step 2 – Progress Means Motivation
When you don’t see any sight of progress, it’s easy to give up.
I didn’t see a penny for about 6-7 months after I started trying to make money online.
Did that discourage me?
Well, I won’t lie. I am a human like you. It did made me think if I was a lunatic trying to make a living from my computer (fortunately, I realized that I wasn’t – you can make money online).
So why didn’t I gave up?
Because I was progressing every day. And that progress gave me ongoing motivation. It created Momentum. When you start creating momentum, that’s when you become unstoppable.
One win came after another. I was putting in consistent work. Even if I didn’t experience any significant difference in my lifestyle, I started to experience some small wins that gave me motivation to keep moving forward.
Progress is the best drug / motivation. The only one you need to pump you up:
No one was reading D&C at first. You can see that I had only 2 subscribers in May 2015 and 0 in April!
But in May I had almost 20 new subscribers. Progress!
June passed away with 75+ new subscribers. More progress!
July was even better. Over 120 new subscribers. That was about 4 per day!
Mailchimp was sending me e-mail updates about the new subscribers daily. I was pumped up to see that more and more people were reading my site.
I got published in 10+ big websites and my articles reached hundreds of thousands of people. These sites include websites with MILLIONS of readers: Lifehack, Elite Daily & PickTheBrain.
It’s not so easy to get published there.
On top of that, thousands of people shared some of these articles!
These along with many others small wins were signs of progress.
Soon after that, I started making decent money from my online business ventures so I could financially comfortable.
Finally…that was the big change I was expecting!
I have also shown you how to do it using fiverr. I will probably write more posts on making money soon. Let me know if you would like that.
Yet, I think that your first priority is to change your mindset and habits. Then money will come naturally after you do that, if you use the right methods.
So let’s take it one step at a time and change your habits first.
Now, let me tell you how I achieved constant progress and created momentum for myself. And how you can do it too. It’s such a simple change, but can make all the difference:
Step 2B – How To Create Your Own Momentum
Be a fucking perfectionist.
Do you see the slogan of the website?
Be The Best, Feel The Difference.
You can only make a difference and feel it when you are the best – or at least as close as possible. In reality, you can’t be the best at everything you do. You can’t be perfect.
What you can do?
Strive for perfection. Get as close to perfect as it’s virtually possible.
In order to do that, you must care about EVERYTHING!
Everything matters when you want to be the best. You care if you respond to your customers in 120 seconds or in 60 seconds.
You care if your website looks professional or not. You care if you practice your skills for 43 minutes instead of 45.
You care if you do an extra chin-up in the gym.
Whatever you do, take it seriously. Otherwise, don’t do it at all. Mediocrity is not what you should strive for. You should strive to be the best. That’s what winners do.
You won’t be immediately after you start. I wasn’t and I am not ignorant to believe I am now. But what I know is that I am getting closer every day. That’s all that matters guys.
Step 3 – Learn to Be Motivated From Within
How can you be motivated from within?
There are two main motives in our lives. Pain and pleasure. That’s what motivates us to change. Usually, pain is a much stronger motive than pleasure.
In my case, my main motive was pain because I wanted to stop suffering financially. Yet, pleasure was a secondary motive because I was thinking of the things I could do that would bring me joy and satisfaction.
Why are you doing what you are doing?
Understanding the why is an important part of making your fantasy a reality. You have to be clear about what you want. You must know WHERE you want to go and WHY you want to go there.
Most people don’t know neither where they want to go nor why they want to go there.
Or they have a really vague idea. It’s impossible to succeed when that happens.
There is a quote saying:
If you don’t look WHERE you want to go, you will go where you are looking at.
In other words, if you are not 110% clear about what your destination is, you will end up somewhere else.
It doesn’t matter if you are the most intelligent person in the word. You need a ROADMAP!
Think about that:
An incredibly smart man is lost alone in a foreign country.
An average man is also lost there. But this man has a roadmap.
Who is going to find his way back home easier and faster?
The average man will definitely will. The smart man won’t. And even if he does, it will take him 5x the same time.
The average man knew where he wanted to go because he had a roadmap. The intelligent man didn’t. He was just walking around without a definite destination.
Have you ever wondered why so many dumb people are get paid more than you?
Maybe some of your colleagues are more successful than you. Maybe it’s your boss or your peers.
But how is that possible?
You know that you are 10x smarter than them!
They have a roadmap my friend.
Once you have one too, you will easily outrank them.
Here is an exercise, I want you to do this if you are serious about your future. If you aren’t, you can skip it. But don’t complain if your life lever changes.
Maybe only 1/10 who read this post will do this exercise. Yet, if I know that at least one of you succeeded and changed his life – I will have accomplished my goal.
Take a piece of paper and answer this question:
What’s the 5 most important things that you want to have accomplished in the next 6 months?
This can be something like: “I want to be promoted”, “I want to double my income”, ” I want to self-publish a best-selling book”. Whatever you want.
Write them down on that paper NOW.
Now, write down 5 reasons WHY you want to do these things. You can’t change your life if you don’t have a reason.
It may be that you want to hep your family, or that you want to get out of poverty. Usually a negative motive is stronger than a positive one.
So, try to find something in your life that makes you feel miserable. Something you despise. And use this as a reason to change.
In my case, the mold on my walls, the cockroaches and the huge financial struggle were some of my reasons.
Now write these motives down on the same paper NOW:
Take that paper and stick it on the wall over your desk. Or put it somewhere you can see it every day. That’s your mission for the next 6 months.
My friend, you have just taken the most important action step to become successful, crush your goals and change your life!
Step 4 – Character
You need three VERY important traits:
You need to believe in yourself and know that you can do what you say you will do.
Remember Part 1?
Most people don’t keep the promises they give to themselves. That’s a huge mistake…
You have to feel that you can “set a goal and crush it” no matter what. Whether that’s to wake up early every morning or make a million dollars.
If you can’t even wake up early every morning when you say you will do so, then you won’t be able to make a million as well – let alone accomplish any other goals you have.
Act upon your words!
You have to be self-disciplined to keep up with the goal you’ve set.
There is a huge gap between knowing you can do something and really doing it.
That’s an aftermath of doing what you say you will do.
When you act upon your words you develop confidence as well.
When you develop these three traits to the utmost, you will have no problem to be internally motivated and crush your goals!
