The Best Morning Routine To Do Daily For Confidence, Discipline, Success & Self-Belief
Set your morning routine right and you will thank yourself later. What you do every day morning plays a significant role in your life.
If you start your day with the best morning routine then you’ve done the first step to dominate that day. When you dominate your day and make it a success on a constant basis, you start seeing your life changing.
But why is my routine the best morning routine?
Because apart from being a great daily morning routine, it also has something else to offer.
In Part 1 of the Unleashing You Series I told you how to stay motivated even when your life isn’t going the direction that it should.
In Part 2 of the series I told you how I change my life for the better every day.
I also showed you the mind-blowing impact that changes like this particular morning routine had on my life. And gave you a step-by-step process on what I believe you should do to change your life.
In both Part 1 and Part 2 of Unleashing You Series I talked about “acting upon your words” and “doing the right things”.
I explained how important this is, if you want to become more disciplined, confident and develop rock-solid self-belief.
I talked mostly about why it’s important to develop these traits. But this article is going to be fully devoted on “how” to develop them.
In particular, it’s about 4 things you can do every morning to improve your life.
These are 4 of my daily habits.
There are more habits I have found extremely useful. Yet, in this article I will share four of them that I like to integrate in my morning routine.
They are one of the best ways to start your day feeling energized and fired up to crush your goals.
These four make one of the best morning routines.
Waking up and doing these 4 things every day will transform your life. You can rest assured about that.
Most people wake up eating pancakes, watching TV, checking their Facebook updates etc (some of the devastating habits I used to have in the past).
But these are habits for losers.
While there is nothing wrong with eating pancakes, I believe that how you wake up makes your day either productive or unproductive.
If you are looking for habits that create productive winners, then continue reading.
Time For a Challenge
Doing these four things for five days and then skipping them for another three won’t work.
You have to be consistent.
For that purpose, take a 30-Day Challenge.

1.Design Your Future
Some time ago I read an excellent book called “Think & Grow Rich”. It was written decades ago by a man named Napoleon Hill.
Napoleon Hill devoted almost his entire life in writing this book. He studied the world’s most successful men to do that.
Twenty-five years of research and interviews with hundreds of people. That’s what it took to write that book. And it’s still a best seller after decades.
One thing that was spread all over the book was the power of the subconscious mind and how to use it to your advantage.
Even now, scientists can’t fully understand how the human brain and subconscious mind work.
Yet, it’s one of the most major parameters that affect your behaviors, personality traits and shapes your life.
The goal of this habit, is to tap into the power of your subconscious mind and use it to your advantage.
To do that, think for a minute how you would like your future to be.
- What you will have achieved personally.
- What you will have achieved in your business/career.
- How physically or mentally fit you will be.
- What your income will be.
- Where you will live, what kind of home or vehicle you will have.
- What trips and experiences you will have.
- What kind of impact you will have made to the world and how many people you will have helped.
These are what most of us care about and will give you a general guideline on what to write about.
The truth is that you can design your future. And writing down what you will achieve is the first step of the process!
You don’t believe me?
See all the losers who never make any written plans. That’s the reason they lose and don’t live the life they want.
When you start writing your plans and designing your future, you have taken the first step to living the life you want to live.
What you have to do: Every day, take a piece of paper and write down 5 things you want to be, do or accomplish in the future. (Hint: Write it down like you have already achieved it)
Write them down using Present Tense like they are already accomplished. When you do that, try to see yourself doing these things (use your imagination) and feel exactly how you would feel if you had accomplished them.
I am jacked, muscular and have a body carved out of steel. My body looks even better than that of X Hollywood actor.
I am the CEO of a multi-million dollar company that’s continually growing and expanding.
I can live anywhere in the world that I want, travel as much as I please and buy whatever I want.
Does it sound crazy?
You see, there is real magic in writing down your goals. Using your imagination to visualize yourself being already there. And using your brain to feel exactly how you would feel if you have accomplished them.
That’s also known as the principle of auto-suggestion.
You “trick” your subconscious mind through a set of repeated instructions to think that these things you talk about have already happened.
The subconscious can’t tell the difference between reality and fantasy. It just works with what it’s given on a constant basis..
Now, you might be wondering. Does it work?
In my experience, yes.
And that’s how I was able to achieve many of my goals. This technique is really powerful. Yet, it works over the long term. Don’t expect overnight magic.
Either way, the main reason you are following these habits is to develop self-belief, confidence and discipline. Whatever comes beyond that, is just an awesome extra.
But you can rest assured that if you follow this particular habit, you will see a big difference in your life’s quality.
When I started doing it, I wasn’t sure if it would work or not. But I did it every morning consistently.
Back then, I was dependent on my parents to pay for all of my expenses (as 99% of guys in my age – even that’s not an excuse).
Anyway, I needed to take care of myself. My parents were poor. They couldn’t give me more than 200$ per month.
So one of the things I was writing down every day was:
“It’s September of 2015 and I am earning 1000$ per month. I am able to pay for all of my expenses alone and don’t need my parents for support”
I had no idea on how I would achieve that. At this time, it seemed impossible for me.
I had my website and some other ventures going on – but making 1000$ per month was more than what my parents earned together. I had never touched or seen so “much” money before.
It sounded crazy to everyone, even to myself!
To my surprise, I managed to make 2700$ one month earlier than September by freelancing on fiverr.
I was thrilled! But I thought it was probably a coincidence…
Anyway, I changed my goal.
Every morning I was writing down that I will make 5000$ per month till December 2015.
At the end of October, I had made more than 5000$!
Another coincidence? I don’t think so. I have achieved some other goals as well by following the principle of auto suggestion.
Crazy or not, it works. And it’s damn powerful!
I didn’t invent it. Hundreds of people have used it before me.
If Napoleon Hill spent 25 years of his life researching multi-millionaires just to discover that, then it should work. And it does!
Final (and very important) note: Writing it down, visualizing and feeling like you have accomplished your goals is only half of the work.
The other half is to take action. I didn’t sit on my couch expecting to make 1000$ dollars. I was hustling, studying and trying things every day.
Without action, you are just wishing for things to happen.
Why Should You Write Down Daily The 5 Things You Would Like To Accomplish Soon?
Because that’s how you learn to think and act like a winner.
Losers can’t even dream of doing big thinks. Winners know that dreaming doesn’t cost anything.
Big dreams make you excited about life and that’s why you should have big dreams.
Writing them down increases the odds to take action and make them a reality.
2.Express Your Gratitude
Whether you believe it or not, showing gratitude can change your life.
Most of the times we tend to focus too much on the things we don’t have, instead of being happy for the things we have. (Guilty as charged.)
That’s why it’s important to remind yourself what you are grateful for. Showing gratitude is essential if you want to achieve more and get more out of life.
You see, it’s not bad to want more.
It’s bad to not show appreciation towards what you already have. The truth is that you are blessed in ways other people will never be.
When you remind that to yourself every day you set the foundation to get more. And you also learn to be happy with your possessions.
Because, if you are not happy when you make 1500$ you won’t be happy when you make 15.000$. You will still want something “more”…
What you have to do: Take a piece of paper and write down three things you are grateful for. It can be anything you want.
I am grateful for having a roof over my head.(Most people in the Western world take it for granted).
I am grateful for having the chance to live one more day.
I am grateful for having enough money to cover all my expenses without worrying about paying the bills.
Just write something. If you want to write more than 3 things, then do it.
Taking things for granted is really easy. Underestimating the value of your possessions is even easier.
They say that you truly appreciate something when you lose it. And it’s true.
No matter who you are, what you are going through or where you live – there is someone out there who goes through worse.
So before you get angry because you live in a shitty apartment, think about all the homeless people out there who would gladly change their place with you.
Before you cry about your parents being strict, think about the orphans who never had a parent.
And before you cry that life is unfair, shut up and think about all the people who never had a chance to enjoy their entire life.
Shut the fuck up, stop complaining and start being grateful!
Why Should You Show Gratitude About What You Have Every Single Day?
- Because it prevents you from losing important things you already have, but you don’t appreciate enough.
- Because it sets up the foundation for getting more. You won’t be happy with more if you are not happy with what you have right now.
- Because it works subtly as a daily motivation showing you some of the things you have accomplished in your life.
3. V-Shape Yourself
Among all the exercises someone could do to be strong and look great – the BEST one is pull-ups.
Pull ups turn boys into men as they are really tough and challenging. Yet, incredibly rewarding.
When you develop the strength to lift yourself from the ground x15 times using only your hands – you will probably be really strong!
There are tons of exercises you could do.
But Why Pull-Ups?
- Because they can be done almost anywhere without needing too much equipment.
- They build that V-shaped back that women love and most men crave. Pull ups make a man look more masculine as they increase they size of your biceps and your back’s width.
- They also make you pretty strong. You will need strength to lift your entire body weight.

What you have to do: Each day you will have to do a specific number of pull ups depending on your current level of strength and physique development.
The end goal is to do 45 pull ups. Three sets of 15 with 30’ rest. But you will start small.
There are three levels and three respective goals:
- Level 1: 3 sets x5 per set – Total 15
- Level 2: 3 sets x10 per set – Total 30
- Level 3: 3 sets x 15 per set – Total 45
In the beginning, it will be hard. So your 1st goal is to do 15 pull ups. It doesn’t matter if you will have to do 15 sets of 1. You can do as many sets as you want provided you hit the “total” number for your level.
When you are able to do 3 sets of 5 pull ups per set – you have just crushed the Level 1.
Then, you move on to Level 2 and do as much as possible to reach the total of 30. And so on.
You could probably take this beyond Level 3 and make your own Level 4 of 60 total pull ups and Level 5 of 75 total pull ups.
In my opinion, when you are able to do 3×15 – the best way to take your physique and strength to the next level is to start doing weighted pull-ups, but that’s beyond the scope of this article.
Anyway, most people aren’t able to do even 3×15. If you reach that point, you will be stronger than the average Joe.
I know a lot of muscular guys in the gym who can deadlift or bench press hundreds of pounds. But they can’t even complete Level 1.
There is something special about pull-ups. Pull ups are an exercise for champions. And that’s what you are going to be.
A champion of discipline, self-belief and confidence. So do your pull-ups!
Why Should You Do Pull Ups Every Day?
Because pull-ups separate men from boys. They make you look and feel strong. And give you that gorgeous, sexy, V-shaped proportionate look that women love.
4. Take Power Poses
What the hell is power posing?
Maybe the easiest, yet most effective “confidence hack”.
Research has shown that “power poses” can have a significant impact on the way you act and the way other people perceive you.
Amy Cuddy, a Social Psychologist has given an incredible TED talk on that subject that has gathered millions of views.
Did you know that just by taking a power pose for 2 minutes, you can increase your testosterone significantly and also lower your cortisol levels?!
Cortisol is the main stress hormone. Low cortisol and high testosterone equals to dominance, confidence and…success.
Dr Cuddy’s research has shown that taking a power pose only for 2 minutes before a job interview can radically increase the chances of getting hired.
On the other hard, submissive poses have the exact opposite effect!
How To Take Dominant Poses The Right Way
To understand what is a dominant pose and what you should do, you must first realize what you shouldn’t do.
These signals indicate submissive, low power body language:
- Looking down.
- Tucking your limbs in.
- Closing up and wrapping your arms like wanting to protect yourself.
These are exactly what you have to avoid.
That’s submissive. Look how “closed” he is. His right hand wraps his body like wanting to protect himself. The other hand “protects” his head. His head is slightly down and his feet are very close to his body..
On the other hand, let’s see how you can take more dominant poses, because that’s what you will have to do, just for 2-3 minutes every morning!
Dominant, power poses are associated with stretching, expanding your body and trying to take as much space as possible.
What you have to do: Take power poses for 2-3 minutes every day.
Push your chest out, raise your arms to form a v-shape and lift your chin slightly upwards with your feet no closer than shoulder length. Do it like a gorilla.
Jessica Tracy, an Associate Professor of Psychology from University of British Columbia has conducted research  specifically on this pose.
It seems that taking that stance happens instinctively when someone wins a physical competition.
Even people who were born without any sight, took that pose each time they felt a moment of power, pride and success!
What you are going to do is to reverse-engineer this.
The research shows that when we feel powerful and successful after a big win, we tend to take that pose.
Yet, if you do the opposite – which is taking that pose without feeling anything before, then you will start feeling more powerful and successful!
The power pose can create within you the feelings of pride, success and confidence. This is not voodoo. It has been proven that taking dominant poses increases your testosterone and lowers your cortisol.
It has also been discovered that people who take dominant poses before a job interview, are more likely to succeed.
Your body language talks more about your emotional condition, thoughts and behavior than what you could ever express using words.
Why Should You Practice Your Power Poses Every Day?
It takes only 2-3 minutes to understand if someone is a winner or a loser – and your body language doesn’t lie!
Manipulate your body language => manipulate your feelings => change the way people perceive you and interact with you.
Bonus Material On Dominant Body Language:
How “squinching” your eyes can make you more photogenic. This is not directly related to power poses. However, eye contact is an essential part of the dominant body language.
And this video shows how a little eye movement can make you look incredibly more confident and even good looking.

It will help you understand the concept of power poses better.
These four habits are a huge part of my daily morning routine.
